Housing Opportunities Made Equal is dedicated to building affordable, sustainable housing for cost burdened families, offering both rentals and homes for sale, while also providing repair services/grants to help families stay in their homes.
Our Dedication
We are dedicated to eliminating our local substandard housing through constructing and rehabilitating homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. H.O.M.E. was founded on the principles that everyone deserves a safe, comfortable home in which they can fully occupy and live in perpituity.

Housing Opportunities Made Equal was created to fill the demand for affordable housing in the Willamette Valley. We have a vision of building both rentals and single family residences for sale along with providing critical home repairs for income qualified families.

Housing Opportunities Made Equal has an open-door policy: All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people. In short, H.O.M.E welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and also serves people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion. As a matter of policy H.O.M.E. organizations do not proselytize. This means that we will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must either adhere to or convert to a particular faith, or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.
