Dear Community/Supporters/Neighbors/Friends,
I am writing to share some exciting news about the future of our organization, and I want to personally thank you for being an essential part of our journey for the past 28 years. Together, we have built homes, repaired houses, and strengthened our community in ways that will last for generations. Your support has allowed us to make a meaningful difference, and for that, we are deeply and profoundly grateful. As we continue our mission of providing affordable housing and essential repairs for families in need, we are embarking on the next chapter in our story. To better reflect our expanded vision and commitment to using new, innovative techniques, we are proud to announce that our organization will be transitioning to a new name: Housing Opportunities Made Equal (H.O.M.E.) This change represents more than just a name, it marks an evolution in how we serve our community. While our core values and mission remain the same, we are adopting advanced building methods and sustainable practices that will allow us to create even more affordable homes, renovate existing properties, and support families for generations to come. Our aim is to ensure that every family, regardless of income, has access to safe, sustainable, and affordable home to live and raise their families. With this transition, we will also be expanding our efforts to help families stay in their homes by continuing our critical repair program. These repairs, alongside our community outreach initiatives, allow us to not only build homes, but to build stronger neighborhoods. Through collaborations, donations, and innovative strategies, we will be able to meet the growing housing needs of our community in more impactful ways. This is an exciting time for us, and we are eager to continue working with you under our new name to make a difference in the lives of many more families. Please rest assured that our dedication to our community remains stronger than ever, and we believe this transformation will enable us to better serve you for many years to come. We are asking for your continued support and belief in our mission. We look forward to sharing this next phase of growth with you and are confident that, together, we will continue to build a brighter future for all. Sincerely, Anthony Rodriguez (and Piper the guard dog) Executive Director Housing Opportunities Made Equal H.O.M.E
